The Idiot Novel by Fyodor Dostoevsky

Prince Myshkin is the novel's titular idiot and Dostoyevsky's idea of a Christlike embodiment of human goodness. His innocence and epilepsy leave him a target for others, and Myshkin's goodness leaves him ill-equipped to handle a corrupt society with flawed human beings.
