Animal Farm (English, Paperback, George Orwell)

Animal Farm is George Orwell's 1945 allegorical novella and satire of the Russian Revolution and the subsequent rise of the Soviet Union. The story follows farm animals who rebel against their human oppressors to create their own society based on the ideals of equality and freedom. However, the pigs, led by the tyrannical Napoleon, gradually seize power, manipulate the other animals through propaganda, and establish a brutal dictatorship, ultimately becoming indistinguishable from the very humans they overthrew.
